Improving the lives of dogs with cancer

Why do we care?

Cancer is the leading cause of death in dogs
Approximately ~6 million dogs in the US get cancer per year and ~30 million dogs get cancer per year globally
There is a lack of treatments that are safe, easy and accessible
Up to 66% of pets owners decline treatment due to concerns about cost, quality of life and side effects of treatment.
And the majority of pets with cancer never visit a specialist due to costs, access to specialist clinics and time commitment.
Kv9 is designed to create a personalised treatment by labelling cancer cells in-situ and activating the patient’s immune system

Kv9 is modelled off AGI-134, an experimental human cancer immunotherapy.
We utilise the same technology but use an animal appropriate antigen to activate the immune system.
Kv9 is currently undergoing clinical trials
